For the LORD is our judge; the LORD is our lawgiver; the LORD is our king; He will save us.--Isaiah 33:22 (ESV)
God is the Judge who takes criminals' sentences upon Himself.
He is the Lawgiver who dies for those who break His law.
He is the King who suffers to save those who rebel against His rule.
He is our Savior.
